How to make the right decision

Are you stuck at a crossroads and don’t know what to do? Are you busy making lists of pros and cons?

If you want some guidance, ask yourself this question:

Which decision releases the most love into the world?

You will feel the right answer settle into your soul.

I encountered this wisdom several times over the past few years in studies about books by such authors as Marcus Borg and Barbara Brown Taylor. I came across it again in an old sermon I found on the internet by the late Reverend Gary Cox, formerly of the University Congregational Church in Wichita, Kansas.

Reverend Cox adopted that question as his rule of life, and I try to remember it as often as possible myself. It helps me to make the right decision.
